Fluroxypyr (CAS No 69377-817.) is belong to pyridyloxyacetic acid herbicide, and hormonal herbicide. It is widely used in the cereal crops. It controls chickweed, cocklebur, purslane, convolvulus arvensis, shepherds-purse, chorispora tenella, descurainia Sophia, polygonum convolvulus, melastoma candidum at 150-300g AI/ha. Its safe to cereal crops.
 
Fluroxypyr Mode of action
Fluroxypyr is applied as fluroxypyr-meptyl. After predominantly foliar uptake, the ester is hydrolysed to the parent acid, which is the herbicidally active form, and translocated rapidly to other parts of the plants. Acts by inducing characteristic auxin-type responses, e.g. leaf curling. 
 
Fluroxypyr Application 
Control of many major annual and perennial grass and broad-leaved weeds in soybeans,wheat and other leguminous crops. Applied pre-plant incorporated, pre-emergence, or post-emergence.
