Description:
Appearance: White to pale yellow powder.
Melting Point: 158° C.
Vapour Pressure: 3.32 X 10-10 m Pa at 20° C.
Stability: Solubility in water 1750mg/L at 25° C, pH 5.4. Soluble in acetone, methanol, and methylene chloride. Slightly soluble in hexane.
Toxicity: Oral LD50 5000 mg/kg, dermal LD50 ( rabbits) is 2000 mg/kg.

Uses: It is a residual sulfonylurea compound used as a selective pre- and postemergence herbicide for broadleaf weeds and some annual grasses.
