Description:
Appearance : orange-yellow with fruit oder
Melting Point: 54-58°C.
Vapour Pressure: 4 mPa at 20°C.
Stability : Solubility in water 0.3mg/L, readily soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons. Stable to acids and alkalis.
Toxicity: Oral LD50 is 5000 mg/kg, dermal LD50 ( rabbits) is 2000 mg/kg.
Uses: It is a selective herbicide used to control most annual grasses and certain broadleaf weeds in field corn, potatoes, rice, cotton, soybeans, tobacco, peanuts, and sunflowers. It is used both pre-emergence, that is before weed seeds have sprouted, and early post-emergence.
