Appearance: Brown and transparent liquid.
Melting Point: -2°C.
Vapour Pressure: 0.30m PA at 25°C.
Stability: Soluble in water 223 ppm in water at 20°C, and soluble in alcohol, acetone,tetrachloride.
Toxicity: Oral LD50 (Rat)1, 426-2, 150 mg/kg. Dermal LD50 (Rabbit) >5, 000 mg/kg. Inhatation LC50 4h: > 3.85 mg/L.

Uses: Acetochlor is a kind of selective herbicide before sprout. It is principally used for weeds of large crabgrass, barnyardgrass, greenbristlegrass, shortawnfoxtail, goosegrass and water mouse-earchickweed, amaranth, common purslane, ducktongueweed used to control insects on rice soya beans, peanuts, maizes, rapes, cottons. Usually take surface treatment of the presprout soil. The using-quantity of Acetochlor is according to the kinds of crops and areas.
