Atrazine chemical name: 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino -1, 3, 5-triazine.

Description: Light grey to white powder

Stability: Stable in neutral, weakly acidic and weakly alkaline media, rapidly hydrolysed to the hydroxy-derivate in strong acids and alkalis, soil dt50 is 100 days.
Toxicity: Oral ld50 (rat): 3090 mg/kg. Dermal ld50 (rabbit) >7, 500 mg/kg. Inhatation LC50: (4h) 5.2 mg/l.
