Toxicity: Midium toxicity. Acute oral LD 50s is 320-380mg/kg for rat, acute percutaneous is 700-1150 mg/kg.

Application:

Dimethoate is the absorption organophosphorus insecticide, acaricide. Wide pesticidal range by strong contact and stomach toxicity to insects and mites. In the Omethoate insects can oxidized to higher activity, and the mechanism is acetylcholinesterase inhibition of insect, blocking nerve conduction and the cause of death. Suitable for the prevention of many crops of piercing-sucking mouthparts pests, such as aphids, leafhoppers, whitefly, leaf insects and certain scale has good control effect, also have the effect of mite.
